Helping where we can is part of who we are,
Building homes means so much more when we’re also helping to build a stronger, more supportive community.

What It’s All About
Building More Than Homes.
At Unit2Go, we believe in using our skills and resources to do good. Every year, our team designs and constructs a high-quality transportable unit that’s auctioned off with no reserve. The proceeds from this auction go directly to a selected charity, supporting incredible causes that change lives in Aotearoa.
From youth organisations to community shelters, every dollar raised makes a difference. And it all starts with a single build.
How It Works
It all comes together with a meaningful $1 reserve auction, made possible by the incredible support of our suppliers. Here’s how the project unfolds:
- We Plan the Build
Each year, we design and prepare a fully functional Unit2Go home. - We Rally Our Partners
Our trusted suppliers donate materials, labour, and products to bring it to life. -
We Auction It Off
The completed unit is listed with a $1 reserve. -
We Give It All Away
Every dollar raised goes directly to the chosen charity.
This Years Home
Designed with care and purpose, our 70m² unit blends smart functionality with thoughtful living, perfect for a wide range of needs and environments. Built to support better futures, this unit is being donated to help raise funds for Blue Light’s incredible work with young people across New Zealand.

Past Success Stories
Supporting community charities has always been part of Unit2Go’s journey. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of contributing to a range of causes.
Here are just a few of their stories.
Live Well, Build Well
Waihanga Ora
Last year, we teamed up with some incredible suppliers to donate a fully furnished 55 m² home, complete with two bedrooms, an office, bathroom, kitchen, and lounge. It was auctioned with a $1 reserve at the Tiny Home Expo, and thanks to the collective effort, we raised over $189,000.
Every dollar went to Live Well Build Well’s mental health programmes supporting tradies and builders.

Past charity efforts
Over the years, we’ve proudly supported a range of charities through projects that give back, from donated builds to community-driven initiatives.
Each one reflects our belief that our work should do more than create homes; it should create opportunities, offer support, and strengthen the communities we’re part of.
