Buy your cabin in NZ
If you think a cabin or tiny house might be a good option for you, Unit2Go offers a range of cabins from one bedroom to three bedroom homes suitable for families.
Our cabins are built to NZ building code standards. They are architecturally designed and you have the option to use your design or ours. All new units are built to NZ building code and come with a council CCC (Code of Compliance Certificate) included in the price. We have professionally registered trade staff. The framing is H1.2 and we use H4 Tanalised flooring. They have a fully galvanised steel frame chassis.
All cabins come with Electrical compliance certificate which is valid for 4 years, this also includes RCD electrical protection. We use Vantage Aluminium joinery. Our cabins are fully insulated with batts in walls and ceilings and underfloor insulation. They include interior and exterior lighting, with double power points, and a 15 metre, 16 amp caravan electrical lead. If a longer lead is needed please contact us.
The cabin has quality fixtures and fittings, shadow-clad ply exterior and the internal walls are grooved MDF and plywood in the wet areas. All our cabins are fitted with Smoke alarms and electric fans in bathrooms. The water supply connects to the hose tap on the exterior of your unit. Colour steel roof and flashings, carpet and vinyl floor coverings, Marley guttering/down pipe system are all included as well being professionally painted inside and out.
The Delivery of Our Cabins
Our cabins are delivered to your property with a specialist truck and trailer system. We then use our digger to easily manoeuvre the cabin into those tight areas that the truck can’t reach. There is usually no site prep needed if the site is reasonably flat. (If the unit is over 10m long you will need to have a 6T digger onsite to Manoeuvre it into place).
Once the cabin is placed in the requested position we then block (not pile) them up level. (This is a temporary measure until you can put the unit on piles (extra cost)) Please note, if the site is uneven or sloped you may need to get a digger to level the site location.
